The 75-meter-long green sailing ship has been designed to pioneer sustainable technology. The vessel aims to showcase the potential of renewable energy, in long-distance sea voyages, setting a new standard in the maritime industry. It will be equipped with an advanced hybrid propulsion system, install 2000 square meters of sails, and use renewable energy from solar panels, methanol, hydrogen and batteries.
Evolution IAS from MCS is contracted for ship-automation system with integrated alarm, monitoring and control of systems and equipment on the vessel. Evolution IAS with integration of EMS/PMS/BMS and interfaces to aux systems; engines, thrusters, fire systems, solar panels, fuel cells, heating system.
Workstations with customized software for integrated ship-automation in the Wheelhouse and Engine Control Room, dead man system for E0 operation (DNV class) and alarm panels in accommodations.
Remote Assistant with secure connection from MCS office in Drammen to assist the crew onboard in a safe, fast and economical way.
